Mr. Cat lives with Annette.
It didn’t give its consent to appear here, but Annette doesn’t take that into account.
It sleeps a lot, observes extensively, and judges in silence.
It has been present during the writing of several books without ever lifting a paw to help. It believes humans make life unnecessarily complicated and that most of their problems could be avoided with a nap and a minimum of dignity.
It doesn’t like visitors, but tolerates readers.
It’s the one which decides if the day’s writing session is over. When Annette writes for too long, it sits on the manuscript, and the message is very clear.
